Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

Scenic, big hotel, everything was great, including staff and location. Beds were uncomfortable, even so it was truly a very nice stay.

It was wonderful relaxing and spotless hotel, exactly as described, with best staff and decent location right on the ocean.

I loved the lobby, it was nice. Helpfulness from the whole staff. The hotel was traditional and in a very central location near restaurants.

The hotel was relaxing, I loved the excellent friendly staff and hot breakfasts. Well-appointed room and excellent communication with the staff.

Competent staff, great bed and ideal location. Super big bedrooms and lovely pool. Location just next door to Monterey and THE bike path and downtown. There's superb pool bar with bottled beverages. Nothing too much trouble, I recommend this hotel and will be back.

Everything was simply excellent. Delicious breakfast, informative staff, I liked unbeatable location. The bedroom was actually big. The beach was wonderful. The pool was great and the views were lovely.

I loved exquisite location and my decent room. Absolutely stunning view, a nice balcony, great bed, too. The service was absolutely good! I ate at a good restaurant with fine food.

The food was exceptional, the rooms were attractive and well-appointed. Functional style hotel with comfortable furniture in the rooms. Best possible location, short walk to Monterey, the ocean and the centre, even so the area was undesirable. Clean property and nice service: )

Internet connection was weak, made me a little nervous.

No complaints, this was an incredible experience here. Property was well-maintained, room was immaculate and well-kept. I loved bagged breakfast; it was delicious. Had no problem using their perfect parking, the internet was free. Unbeatable location, within walking distance of monterey bay.

Peaceful location, uniquely decorated room, huge bathroom, PLEASANT folks.

Facilities were extremely clean, nevertheless Wi-Fi was bad.

Everything was very good, loved our splendid stay. Big bedrooms and amazing beds. Bagged breakfast with lots of good meals to choose from. Easy check in and late check out. This accommodation had a pet-friendly setting. Besides, the area was very pleasant, next to the cannery row monument.

Very elegant building, excellent staff and location. I loved the staff, mainly due to their courtesy. I stayed in the room that was cleaned and available with comfortable beds, exellent facilities and beautiful views...

It was luxury hotel and we had an excellent stay. Fantastic staff, welcoming room, exceptionally nice breakfast items. Had hot beers, tea and juices in the coffee bar.

Fairly clean place accompanied by consistently courteous staff. Inviting room, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows.

Quite clean hotel, there were okay service and food.

The location was GORGEOUS, the public spaces were so clean and the staff was peaceful. They made my stay very delightful. I had very wonderful breakfast with my own private view of the ocean. Had soft drinks in the outdoor bar. I could park the car onsite.

pet-friendly location, exceptional rooms. lots of supplies in the room: hairdryer and usb ports. hotel was an easy walk to an oceanarium and restaurants.

Modern design, a decent size room, ideal location. Nice beds, hairdryer and USB ports in the room. A nice beach, spectacular view. I had fine days staying at this smart hotel.

The bathroom was tiny.

Fairly clean and the staff was enthusiastic. Good central hotel set in the pretty quiet area. The room was normal with a standard interior. Room service was unparalleled for us too.

For sure we will be back. Breakfast was great, comfy bed. The room was good sized. Don't forget to visit nearby Tidal Coffee, they have best coffee ever.

The bed was comfortable, the valet was helpful! We appreciated our big room. Central location, brilliant base for discovering Monterey. No complaints, the venue met needs.

The staff was excellent and the setting was great. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Tidal Coffee that was only 10 minutes' walk away.

It was easy to get to Lone Cypress and cannery row was also near to this place. This hotel was set in a central area.
